Object Potentiality

Object Potentiality is a series from a body of work currently in progress. It explores objects and how they are perceived when they are removed from their context and placed in an infinitely malleable state. The idea of a green screen is a simple yet effective metaphor for an increasingly digital reality. What happens when objects are placed in a framework which is open to manipulation? Do they cease to become what they are? By creating increasingly malleable spaces as well as inserting objects into them, this body of work explores the limits of an increasingly digital society.
